The Follies
This project uses two interactive video animations to explore the gamification of architectural design. The first animation transforms random geometric blocks into architectural structures by adding elements such as doors and windows, creating "Follies"—freely combined blocks adapted using Revit family blocks. The second part introduces a game also named "Builder," which allows for the manipulation of digital architecture without an "undo" function, symbolizing a continuous process of architectural renewal and collapse. It challenges traditional definitions of architecture, questioning its functionality and form in a digital, interactive setting, using modern technology to enable real-time customization and exploration of architectural spaces.
